Fragmented dazzle
alters scene – serene moment
rendered tenuous.
(Haiku written for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge: serene/scene. Â Also inspired by the prompts of Ragtag Community: dazzle, and Fandango: tenuous. Image from personal collection.))
Anchored, no money –
lack has a way of turning
dreams into fool’s gold.
(Dug up this haiku from August 2015 for today’s prompts: Ragtag Community and Fandango both choosing ‘fool’. Image from personal collection.)
Beneath mossy beards
weathered faces watch, listen –
silent witnesses.
Mirrored, the silence
echoes through my soul – invites
a deep soothing calm.
(It’s open link night at the dVerse pub, hosted by Kim. Â Thought I’d drop by with a bit of a calm. Â Image from personal collection.)
The knight’s bravado

the dragon wakens.
(A haiku for Willow Poetry’s What Do You See? challenge – the featured photograph.)
Duck’s disposition
I admire – to glide, sail
through rainy weather.
(For Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku challenge: Â swim & float. Â Image from personal collection.)
Fierce the gathering
clouds laden, heavy – my heart
echoing the storm.
(For Ronovan Writes Haiku challenge: Â fierce & storm)
Man, possessed of mind,
logic driving ambition –
magic overlooked.
(For Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku challenge: Â man & magic)
Black and white flashes
disrupt the tangle of grey –
heart-soaring sweetness.
