Be as trees reaching
canopy of harmony –
gratitude implied.

Calm belies the storm
dis-ease spawning a flurry
fractured ideas
peppered with glints of hope –
with focus, I too sparkle.
(There have been many instances this week that have tested my grit.
I am learning to harness the good moments and hang on.
Linking up to my weekly challenge: I’m learning... Image my own.)
Evening sky fraught
with alarm – brooding
clouds menace
In morning light
all is redeemed –
resplendent the day.

Hope’s a robot
marching along
endlessly sourced
Compassion is flame
ignited by love
kept burning by care
Fear annihilates
dampens the flame
darkens the path
Hope persists
follow her lead
keep compassion alive.
Midwinter light breaks
monotony of grey – tree
dances in glimmer.

My heart is a brook,
joyous as a child’s song,
memories like moss
warm my wintry verges –
luminescence from within.
(For RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku challenge:Â brook/ moss; and Eugi’s weekly prompt: luminescent.)
