Oh, this symphony,
this magnetic resonance –
my brain is on fire,
a duende spiralling
mystical discovery.

Romantic nature
paves the path with gold – river

It’s time to resurrect
our confidence,
recapture the sensitivity
of intuitive knowing,

Too long have we equated
self-esteem with

disappointed with
our inability to meet
media standards,
blamed ourselves
for divorce,
disease,
staying home

It’s time to honour

Autumn dons a mask,
regales the changing season,
ignores Winter’s threat –
and I too, dance, brightly clad,
deny the nearness of death.
In Mallard’s wake woe –
with clipped wings, I watch and yearn
for Winter sojourn.
