Get lots of snow today? Great haiku

It doesn’t stay long, but we are in the midst of snow squall warnings. Always pretty in the beginning.

Beautiful poem and that looks like a sketch! It’s wonderful, did you draw it? ❤

Thanks. It’s actually a digital rendering, but I feel a sketch (or attempt) coming.

Enchanting winter haiku and I love the sketch. Thank you for joining the challenge, V.J.!

I have to confess, Eugenia, that I am daunted by new challenges – it’s the darned brain fog – so I’m glad it fit in okay. I trusted you would correct me if not. Thanks.

It’s a perfect fit, IMO. The fact that people participate means more to me than if the piece fits. Plus, everyone will have their own interpretation. 😊

I love the textures of the artwork! Howling winter wind and icy vapor enchanted me when I was a child–but no longer.

Thanks Liz. It enchants me at first, but will soon lose the charm.

Exactly. We got 10 cm overnight – everything is white capped, like me.

I can feel the cold in the first two lines and then the lightness and wonder of the season in the last!

Thanks Heather – at this time of the year, it is a bit of both. Now, February is another story, lol.

Lovely picture to accompany your haiku! We are waiting, once again, for snow, since the previous accumulations have melted away in the warm. I sort of like winter storms.

There is something enchanting about them, as long as one is safe and warm.
