In darkness, eyes open
search for light –
touch fear
find faith
In darkness, I stumble
lose my way,
stop, pray,
listen anew
In darkness, vulnerability
strength emerges
priorities engage
soul mends.

Good piece, thanks. Throughout this process I’ve seen a psychologist, and it really helps – keeps me out of depression and teaches me how to best navigate the life challenge that is chronic illness. (Most days, of course, lol)

Yes. An experience I think we’ve both known well.

How lovely would be the feeling of ‘soul mending’! Yes, darkness makes us vulnerable, but enables something more.

I love the positive energy, that we can emerge from darkness.
