I try to scrape history from stone
reassemble words on vellum –
bravado pretending release

the enlightened, willing osmosis –
ego avoiding blood: grit of change

Still Digging

Still Digging

Father, as immoveable
as a mountain

bestowed upon us
a fear of masculinity

Resilience instilled

gold from darkness:

(Sketch mine)
