Movement abandons
I grasp for something…
concrete…
…air to breathe
… am fast becoming
…sedimentary
…an object
Need a verb –
transitive –
to drive me –
The wind lifted her
The sun inspired her
The day healed her…

Can’t claim this as mine. It was a writing assignment from a creative writing class someone else took, lol.

I always appreciate you Benjamin. I’ve just recently joined an editing circle and it makes me wonder. So your encouragement is even more important to me.

It’s good to have these groups, and people you can lean on for feedback. I think your poetry is at the peak, but I also see that you intend to go even higher than that high. Can’t wait to see what words you’ll come up with next.

‘branching’ out is a good verb. Like stretching. That would be good too.

I suppose it’s a step up from a slug… As an aside, I had a doctor once who said he was coming back as a rock next time. Interesting.

I need verbs daily to keep me going. Always searching for healing and inspiration. Both require waiting and preparation. Rushing either is pointless, but when a surprise comes out-of-the-blue it’s like a blessing. Take care, V.J. π
