A life of servitude,
the guru said,
surely leads to Nirvana
No debate permitted –
we are but plebes
answer his every need
mere women, born
to serve, to nurture…
I flee the cult
Why? Because I can.
Servitude does not
negate free will.

The true condition of the soul is not rendered by our outward behaviour. Loved this VJ

I was so much on this wavelength when I woke this morning. There are so many ways to express freedom. You’ve expressed it beautifully, and I love the image too.

I love the image of the bird fleeing. Servitude to the guru of a cult could serve as a metaphor for many situations people find themselves in.
