generation repeating
variations on a misery
absent fathers
mothers overwhelmed
heartache welded
into young psyches
till inspiration invites
a new hypothesis.

Interesting piece and conveys an important message. The world would probably be better off if some cycles were broken long ago. I love what you did with your image!

Wow.. reminds me of ancestral healing (history of the generation). The youth may then write a new story (“a new hypothesis”) that can release the family karma… <3.

Interesting image, fits with the ghostly feel of the poem. I like the twist of hope at the end.
