A grackle shimmers
sun highlighting blue – my mood
queer melancholy –
absent knocks, talks, minutiae
remains discomforting din.

  8. I love the grackle photo. He’s quite striking against the blurred yellow background. “Queer melancholy” and “discomforting din” are perfect to describe this surreal state of existence we find ourselves in.
