Years when children,
perpetually in motion,
required a referee –
Mom’s energy replete
so ephemeral now –
time having vanished,
weariness lingering,
savouring memory blurs.
(Inspired by my grandchildren, and the prompts of Ragtag Community: ephemeral, and Fandango: referee. Image from personal collection.)
Certainly blurs round the edges, but the heart of it remains so warm.

Life has blurred edges…as does my memory, lol…essentially good. Thanks.

I love this response for the prompt. I wish I had realized just how quickly time was going by, I’d have taken more time to savour the moments!
