Casts and splinters and slings
Avoided the C-word
Radiation not needed
Surgery did the trick
Some scars invisible
Underlying lesions
Remnants of
Volcanic-sized disruptions
Instinctually I strive
Visualize a better day
Accept life’s challenges
Live with fullness.
