Shoulder to shoulder
we contemplate clouds, hunt for
silver, my brother
lost, then found, ponders what ifs –
clouds become threads, unite us.

I really like this. It has a dreamy quality to it. Makes you want to stop and ponder.

Absolutely love this– “my brother
lost, then found,” so many ways to interpret that line, so poignant.

“ponders what ifs” … like never before! (I love the full abandon of your poetry and photography VJ. It helps me find the ‘third eye’ inside me) xo

Thanks Andrea. I’ve shared before that my brother(s) and I were separated for years as his father kidnapped and relocated them. He found us again in his teen years, but it is only now in our senior years that we talk about what happened and ponder those “what ifs”.
