if you ever visit Shamrock, Texas there’s a terrific car junkyard right on the Route 66 road through the town near to the Hotrod Pizza shack which I can also recommend! And of course visit the vintage Conoco gas station further up the road. One of my favourite stops on my 2016 US trip.
