Does life ever turn out the way we expected? I doubt it. A smooth ride would only serve to make us dull and unsympathetic beings.
I didn’t know that I had the ability to crawl out of darkness until I did. When illness knocked me off my feet, I had the reassurance of knowing I’d defeated worse.
The future is unknown, and I trust that I am equipped to handle whatever comes my way.
So well said

Well said, VJ, hoping your health quickly improves. I have been blessed with good health except for a couple prescriptions. My depression has steadily improved since my wifeās death last year. Writing is my main medicine. Thank God, because I canāt imagine the aloneness without it. Cheers!

Thanks Gary. I live with chronic illness, so no reprieve, but writing sure helps. Seems at one stage of life or another, we’re always finding ourselves. Sorry for your loss.

Iām so sorry VJ. My late wife suffered from chronic pain for as long as I knew her, almost fifty years. I miss her badly every day. The temperature of the grief has lessened. But there are bad days. Anyway, I pray you find better day ahead. All the best, Gary.
