Words have lost clarity
definitions slipping
societal fog

One cries freedom
while another gasps
for breath…

Is destiny a one-manned
sailboat navigating
ambiguous waters?

Or have we fallen,
poked the beast
of destruction?

  1. Fitting seasonal poetry. I like seeing us pay attention. I agree with Hart Inspirations, and noticed another poet I follow posted in mind of politics this morning. As did I. Thursday politics? Or, simply affectation. Apt sample. Cheers.
