Rock solid,
biding time,
fixated on
a future
born of
movement.
Frozen –
iced snapshots
of possibility,
immobilized by
misperceptions
Role-playing
expectations
carved from
generations
of staging.
One falters
all tumble,
lives shatter,
sink, lies
bottom out
sediment
disintegrates,
settles –
strength emerges
resurrecting
rock by rock,
precarious at first,
then gradually
re-building,
balance restored.

I loved this V.J. It shows how tenuous life can be and one false move can send the dominos falling. š

Thanks Christine. I certainly know this first hand, as many of us do.

Marvellous description of the vulnerability, sometimes shaky, we fall apart, though we pick up the pieces, put it back together again, this time with more solidity and balance.

Great poem, food for thought.

one falters all tumble, that described this photo situation perfectly, like most organisations built on flimsy ideologies and shaky principles. really liked this one V.J – it can be read generally or applied to very specific circumstances

Thanks Gina – I was thinking of families, or relationships, but also am deeply influenced by politics right now – like a train wreck that I can’t stop looking at.
