Winter’s Touch

Winter’s Touch

Fat flakes of snow
fall on my face, my lens,
disrupt focus –
each icy formation
a gentle kiss.

Oh, Winter,
you crafty old man,
winning me over
with the purity of white,
and cold, wet, caresses.
