As a child, I knew no limits, setting out on adventures with never a fear for how I’d find my way back home.
Now, nestled in my home, I limit myself to certainties, fearful of risks.
Some days, I wonder about that child, and how it would feel to wander freely, and it makes me smile.
The body may be hindered, but the imagination remains forever young.

Yes, I often wonder what happened to my inner child. Thankfully my art is an attempt to rediscover it.

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. Pablo Picasso. We both have learned to keep our inner child through our creativity. Thank God!

Imagination is everything! When we can no longer do things we once did, our imagination can still take us to those places!

I’ve recently been thinking about that too…even in my 20s I was pretty fearless (or stupid maybe). Not anymore. When did I become afraid? But we can always dream ourselves anywhere. (K)

Sometimes, I have to remind myself it is my imagination spurring me on when the reality comes to light that what once was is not quite what is! lol

the older we get, the more fears with have, and we missed our own childhood years, when we could, bravely, pursue, all of our, wildest, fantasies.

I don’t think anything is defined by age. Age is a number. 😃
