What is the fallout of oppression –
misinformation ignoring collective needs?
Focus on we, as if we is me, and
they are the reason our attempts fail
Assertiveness has no hold
when obligations are cheapened
And time/ history is ignored
for a feel-good moment now.
How does one decipher the nonsense
weed through the flimsy constructs
And realign with a vision –
powered by love for all?

Yes, so much realignment needed, powered by love for all, as you say.

So much nonsense. With the refrain of me me me. We need a new song. (K)

It’s even worse (in my estimation) when it is disguised with a pretty face. We are still taken in too much by beauty. We really need to evaluate our tools of discernment, including starting to listen to and honor our inner gut feelings, our own inner wisdom.

Such a difficult question you pose at the end. Maybe the fact is there are” we’s” and “they’s” that will never agree.

Perhaps – hard to understand, but we are seemingly not all on the same page

Thanks so much Mich. I hate my voice, lol, but I do think poetry read aloud has more impact.

The conditions you described, is one that, a lot of us, are, governed, under, and, these leaders are, popularly, elected, by us, and, they now, ruled over our lives, as, authoritarians, and, we’ve all been, enslaved, too long, to, fight.
