It’s a bird’s perspective I envy –
the ability to perch up high,
balanced no matter the weather,
unaffected by the drama below –
I shall never know such calm,
being afraid of heights.

Bird metaphors as this always tend to free my mind no matter the species.

I too, have always envied the freedom of birds. But when I reflect, they aren’t really free of man made restrictions either.

I don’t know…they seem to look for their own drama…have you seen them swooping down to engage in a squabble at the bird bath??

Not to mention always having to be on the lookout for bigger birds….

They have wings
They know they won’t fall.
I once thought my arms would do,
they were to thin. 😊.
