Door to Creativity

Empty spaces hold
wonder, I drop emotion
focus on present
open mind to mystical –
creativity takes flight.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. That’s the key; to focus one’s mind on being open to whatever comes. I read this book years ago and it came to mind when I saw your post. Love your image. ❤

This first quote reminds me Tesla and how he tapped into ideas beyond himself. "Ideas have no material body, but they do have consciousness, and they most certainly have will. Ideas are driven by a single impulse: to be made manifest. And the only way an idea can be made manifest in our world is through collaboration with a human partner. It is only through a human’s efforts that an idea can be escorted out of the ether and into the realm of the actual.”

"As long as I'm still moving in that direction—toward wonder–then I know I will always be fine in my soul, which is where it counts. And since creativity is still the most effective way for me to access wonder, I choose it.”
