Death invites me to dance
extends crooked hand
for crooked hand
takes the gentlemen’s lead
I know his moves –
have watched a time or two
even partnered a few
long, slow waltzes
But I prefer to tango
like the spice and thrill
of life’s lively step
bid him, politely, to move on.

Lovely, dare I say ‘sweet’. Let’s keep dancing, just us girls, like old times.

Never put death and dancing in the same room I guess. Wonderful imagery. It reminds me a bit of a John Mayer song, “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” about the death of a relationship. https://yhoo.it/2VXunv4

Typing from the hospital dear …. thank you…we are energized by the public support here …. but it has beer eerily quiet in my centre. I pray it stays that way. Take good care 🌺

Love this attitude – and I do believe attitude heavily influences the vulnerability/stability seesaw. And that’s a dazzling image!
