Paint, we vowed,
would negate the haunting,
make the house our own –
selected with care:
sage green and dust of pink –
sanded and scraped,
pulled back baseboards…
same colours there –
ghosts had penetrated
our psyches.

I love this VJ….I have moved a lot and there is a haunting you feel in a formerly lived in home………it takes so much time to make it your own.

Sounds like our misadventures of trying to eradicate ghosts of prior owners of our houses.

Phenomenal … but then maybe you were called to this house because you were in synch with its ghosts. Maybe it selected you, rather than vice versa?

This was a former house. It was definitely haunted. I came home late one night to find my then husband in the driveway, too afraid to go back in, lol.
