Care will not change an ex –
tenderness rejected –
quit dwelling –
no more than a servant
in that abode –
innocence bore dependence,
and that perpetual need to fix
only perpetuated plummet –
hold cries,
confess
to being a survivor!

Care will not change an ex –
tenderness rejected –
quit dwelling –
no more than a servant
in that abode –
innocence bore dependence,
and that perpetual need to fix
only perpetuated plummet –
hold cries,
confess
to being a survivor!

Yes that slippery slope of fixing, and early in life we ignore or never see it. Such a raw poem, wonderful.

Confessing to being a survivor is an important step to salvation from the past. Freeing to the mind, like dust in the wind.
These lyrics came to mind. 🙂
“Where do we go from here
How do we find our wings
How do you breathe without dreams
Where do we go from here”
