When their hot tongues lie,
I cry bitter milk –
time can rip at friendly water,
blow him from my sea,
though his shot a show –
am so blue,
a bare want,
in those lies dressed.

Life takes me away from the writing world at times, but life brings me words and poetry to capture within my mind and eventually a blank page becomes filled.
VJ, I always enjoy coming here to see what you’ve been up to. Beautifully used written words tied to a relationship reflection. While you the author know what inspired each carefully laid out word, those of us who read, ponder, apply and connect. Thank you.

Wow, so much meaning with such diverse words! Love the tie in from the first line to the last two lines. Since back at work, I haven’t had much time to play around with the magnetic poetry.

It does take time. I took the liberty of repeating the word ‘lies’ to give the poem more meaning. Thanks.
