The man is rhino
mere stench of him
inspires fear
clears the room
We cower, quietly
captivated little mice
terrified he’ll call us out
bullied into submission
But this status quo
bears no permanence
time and circumstance
will topple the power
And once writhing
on his backside, who
will venture to help, and
who will leave him be?
(Original was written in 2020. Seems it still applies. Image my own)
Can’t wait for the day to never utter or hear his name again!

I cringe every time I see an image of him which unfortunately is often. And I’m in South Africa. Hoping the poison doesn’t spill over – it doesn’t take much with the patriarchy still very much in power all over the world. This is what organised religion has left us with.

Beautiful image, VJ!
Let’s hope self-destruction comes sooner than later.

It’s a travesty that this poem is still relevant.

I find it intriguing to repost things that apply to the present time.
Some things are timeless and all will be exposed sooner or later.
love the image!
Happy Easter!

It applies all too well. Only this time, we are ready for him- and we are not content to cower anymore.
