Inside Out

We decry loss of innocence
whilst downplaying our sins

Not news.
Blame is a tricky game…

Better to practice accountability
than to capture the podium…

Changing the world
inside out.

(I’ve been thinking about all the noise going on in political forums and wondering if we the people hadn’t best organize in order to protect ourselves from any unforeseen fallout. Not sure what that would look like, but losing my trust in ‘leadership’.)

My image.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. I can totally relate to your thoughts, VJ. Personally, I’ve aligned with a group in my community that will address the needs of others in this insecure times. We feel deeply that we should be here for each other should crisis situations arise.

  2. So true. People are organizing. I’ve been reading The Dworkin Report on Substack that lists all the good news of how people are organizing and fighting back. You just don’t hear about it much on the mainstream media.

  3. That’s what it is…noise. Erase the noise. Ps 46:10 be still, and know that I am God. Be still, because I am not God.

Is the image a painting or photo?

Honest and forthright poem. We were never told to trust in leadership. Pray for leadership and trust in God.

  4. Just talked to someone about this…I’m beginning to think that we’re not mobilizing because all systems are meant to be dismantled. The problem is what are we going to replace them with.
