The waters of my soul
are still this night
the harshness of day’s light
easing now
into quiet solitude.
I surrender to renewal
knowing that no matter
what tomorrow brings
I have peace within
to guide me.

Nothing can take away peace from within if you can figure out how to find it.

It brings me great peace to hear the audio and read the words. And the painting, whether yours or a photo, I sometimes don’t know which, it stunning and reflects the peace you speak of.

A lovely calming poem. Pairs so well with your painting, which I adore. Is it a river in Ontario?
