No big box here
our shops line up
in historic rows
Our fragance
eau-de-ferme
earthen fresh
Our spires reminders
that values are simple
and life blessed.

I love small towns as opposed to big cities. They seem to have a lot of charm.

At my age, they have so much more to offer.

Yes, peace and serenity mean more than hustle-bustle as we get older.

Looks a lot like Main St in Newport (VT), about half an hour north of here, but ours is only two blocks long.
Fine work VJ

The place, where the ancient values mattered most, where we care for, one another like loved ones, back in a time, when, there’s not much hurt, in the world, like today, these are, the good old days, that are, completely gone, and, we can’t have them back again.

The world has changed indeed, but here, in our small town, values of caring for one another remain.

I love all that old architecture. It makes you want to walk the streets and breathe that eau-de-ferme (although sometimes it can be a little overwhelming! lol)
