Sky Language

To the west, a patch of electric blue
while Eastern clouds tumble grey

With each glance, sky language
alters, as if heaven re-examines

mood – intermittently snows
then explodes in flash of vermillion.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. Like others, I enjoyed the term “sky language”. It describes so much. Just this morning I ran back and forth from the back of the house to see the slightly-past-full moon set to the front of the house to await the dawning of the day. I think I was experiencing “sky language” that was bilingual. 🙂
