Wind carries Autumn’s song
and I am crawling out of a nightmare
Insides churning widdershins
thoughts grasping for a forward pull
Have been to the edge,
touched the volatile
Birdsong breaks solemnity
I catch a ray of light.
(Tuesdays, I borrow from Twitter @Vjknutson
Last September, I was in hospital fighting
through a life threatening condition.
I penned this there. Image my own.)
Beautiful bird to pen at such a difficult time V.J

I really love the line:
“insides churning widdershins” – as if there was magic at work regardless. Like something unwelcome being expelled π

Good to know you are through that and survived it. I have been in that situation myself and it is a struggle. Lovely artwork in your image.

Thanks Anne. It is a struggle – one I’m motivated not to repeat.

You taught me a new word, VJ – widdershins. A good word in meaning and sound. Thanks.
