Roses, hydrangeas
we are as flowers
in this garden called life

Who appointed gardeners
to pronounce weeds
to extinguish breath?

Murder is murder
we are all fallen
paradise suffering blight.

  7. You know, I was thinking about something similar earlier. Vegans and vegetarians sometimes say meat eaters are killing animals for food, but I always wonder, aren’t plants living things, too? Apologies if I’m off-topic, but what you’ve written triggered these thoughts.
