Cheesy Solution

Creativity’s
an eight-legged
life-sized terror,
has me cornered –
those menacing eyes
and crushing mandibles
paralyzingly frightful –
about to be consumed,
I throw her some cheese.

      1. you had me interested there! in the Secret Life of Bees, they used marshmallows to lure some bugs out of hiding …i forget now but your poem reminded me of that!
