Seasonally

One rose
dripping red, like blood from thorns –
a warning? a promise?
even roses die –
love, too?

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

      1. I do the best I can about commenting on posts…sometimes I get it wrong…maybe I’m in a negative mood, or tired, in a hurry to acknowledge fellow bloggers. I end up closing blogs when I feel I’ve caused offense…and then I come back (new blog), and wonder if I should follow the same people…whether I should just LIKE, not comment, to avoid trouble… I don’t know…

      2. Glad to hear I’m not alone in my struggle. I find I’m overwhelmed by the number of alerts alone. Some days I just do likes, and some days I skip posts. Bottomline is we have to protect ourselves and the rest is just gravy.
