The sky donned a mask today –
clouds contriving a hoax –
like a great, feathered beast
emerging from the heavens,
bearing down on me –
Silly, this trepidation, this
superstitious sentimentality –
both clouds and I know
this is only illusion – sun
still rules the skies…

Even when we cannot see the sun, moon or other stars – it is nice to (at the very least) believe they are still there 🙂

It is a matter of perspective, whether you see it as swooping down or rising up. Excellent take!

Wise ending VJ. How profound it is, the sun still rules the sky…no matter what.
